IMO IC155E Fire Safety Systems (FSS) Code, 2026 Edition

This publication presents engineering specifications for fire safety equipment and systems required by SOLAS chapter II-2.

This edition includes all related fire safety standards and guidelines relevant to the International Code for Fire Safety Systems (FSS Code) that have been adopted by either the Assembly or the Maritime Safety Committee of the International Maritime Organization, the most recent of which entered into force on 1 January 2026.

This edition of the FSS Code also includes unified interpretations that have been approved by the Maritime Safety Committee since 2004.
